It came up when readers asked:
- “I need a book for my dad's birthday. He's 62, loves courtroom dramas and old Rumpole on telly, so what legal thriller would he like?”
- “What are the best legal thrillers by British authors? I'd like something set in English courts rather than American ones.”
- “Is there a good legal thriller series I can start from book one? I like having a lot of books to work through once I'm hooked.”
