It came up when readers asked:
- “Need a birthday present for my nan who loves a nice cup of tea and a cosy mystery, what cosy crime book would you get her?”
- “Can you recommend cosy crime set in a village bakery or tea shop? Bonus if there's a bit of humour.”
- “Is there a cosy crime series that's worth starting? I like getting stuck into a long series with characters I can get attached to.”
