It came up when readers asked:
- “What are the best children's picture books of all time? Looking for ones that parents and kids both actually enjoy.”
- “My son loves The Gruffalo and we've read it a hundred times. What other picture books are similar?”
- “I run a little parents' book group at our primary school and we want to pick a picture book that gets people talking. Any suggestions?”
