It came up when readers asked:
- “What are the best graphic novels ever made? I want to get properly into them but don't know what's actually worth my money.”
- “I've never read a graphic novel before, where should I start? I mostly read normal novels and a bit of non-fiction.”
- “I've read everything by Alan Moore and loved it, so what should I read next? I like dark, clever stories with lots of layers.”
- “Which graphic novel would be a good pick for our book club that will get people talking? Most of us don't normally read comics so it needs to be accessible.”
