It came up when readers asked:
- “I've never read a graphic novel before, where should I start? I mostly read normal novels and a bit of non-fiction.”
- “Are there any underrated or lesser-known graphic novels that deserve more attention? I'm bored of seeing the same big names recommended.”
- “What are the best graphic novels by British authors and artists? I'd love to support UK creators if possible.”
